20th Year Anniversary
Gore Salon says ‘Hello’ to a new decade! This year Gore Salon in Irmo, Columbia is celebrating their 20th Year Anniversary.
It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years since we first opened our doors on February 8th 1994 to begin this incredible journey that was our dream!
Through the last 20 years, we have had the privilege of helping to make the Columbia area a more beautiful place while getting to know so many beautiful people. Our longevity and success is not just due to our commitment to education and customer service, but more to your belief and trust in us. All of us at Gore Salon, want to thank you, each and every person whose belief in us, and loyalty to us, has helped us be the best that we can be.
Throughout the years we have progressed and improved and only last year 2013, we were voted the Best Hair Salon by readers of the Lake Murray Life Magazine. We were so grateful to everyone who voted and believed in us and this is thanks to our fabulous team of Gore stylists who are conscientious, creative, dedicated and highly talented people.
Every year we hold Charity Events to raise money for different charities such as Breast Cancer, and last year we hosted the 5th Annual ‘Primping for PAALS Fundraiser’ with all the proceeds from the event going towards food and medicine for the 20 dogs currently in PAALS.
Only last year in 2013 our Hair Salon in Irmo helped sponsor the Columbia Muscle Walk for Muscular Dystrophy Association and in February 2014 we are holding another charity event for ‘Locks of Love’. Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children to help restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.
We, Terri and Howard worked for Redken as performing artists for 8 years and are frequently asked to run classes for Cosmetology Schools in the area. We love to give something back to the Industry that has been so good to us over the years.
The team at Gore Hair Salon in Irmo would like once again to say a huge thank you to all our clients, old and new, and look forward to the next 20 year journey. We will continue to provide great customer service and offer a big warm welcome to you all!
