To instantly restore depth, add dimension, and shine we can do a simple hair color glaze with Redken Shades Equalizing Color Gloss. This is a demi-permanent color service which means it will fade gradually without a line of demarcation. With a color gloss service we can take platinum highlights and diffuse them into ribbons of toffee or buttery caramel in only one hour. Our colorists can use a glaze to add gold, copper or even red tones to give new life to over-lightened locks.

As colder weather approaches, we tend to lose our summer glow and need to deepen our hair color to compliment our skin tones – think honey and chestnut warm hair tones.

Lowlights for hair drama

For a more dramatic darkening service with possibly multiple colors, we can add lowlights. Low lighting is foiling selected pieces of hair and adding a deeper and darker color.  This can be done with demi-permanent or permanent color, a consultation with your colorist will determine which is appropriate for your desires and needs. One of the advantages of lowlights with foils is we can do any color or combination of colors, with complete control of placement. Varying the depth of the colors can be very beautiful and natural looking, or by using some of the more vivid colors such as fuchsia, purple, or blue…we can really spice up your look!

Brunettes have more fun!

Brunettes are very big with celebrities this year-recalling the glamour of Jackie-O and Audrey Hepburn. This winter try stepping out of your comfort zone and select two shades that will show off your new cut. Be as conservative as a slice of caramel in your fringe or as daring as pink ends on your blonde bob. Remember have fun with your hair and color!  Always consult a professional, spend plenty of time consulting with your colorist, and don’t be afraid to bring photos of what you like and don’t like!
